A soft supporting multi-sensory environment for baby, Playnest features a fun farm scene with the gym as the sky above. The five gym toys are different on each side to give varied colours and patterns to provide visual stimulation and may be rearranged on the colourful links to create a changing environment. A guide gives suggestions on how to use the Playnest and gym for play activities which stimulate development. The Playnest cover, sky frame cover and soft toys are all machine washable.

They call it a multisensory play environment and activity gym; you may just think of it as a good way to get a rug-rat off the rug. The base of the play nest is an inflatable vinyl ring (39 inches external diameter) encased in a fabric cover that's festooned with animal scenes and a variety of textures, and flaps; four fabric-covered gym bars connect to the ring and meet at a point over your baby's head. You can attach various included soft toys (a sun that plays You Are My Sunshine, a mirrored star) with links to the bars. For the youngest infant, this is a cozy place to watch the world; slightly older tots will enjoy the sense of security and a bit of assistance with sit-up play. Hours of entertainment

Our daughter was given 4 play gyms- all by various companies. At 12 months this one is still in the middle of her nursery and she spends hours climbing in and out of it. It is the only piece of baby gear that has not been packed away! As some prior customers wrote the poles are a little difficult to put up so be patient. As for our daughter ever getting \"stuck\" or put in danger I have to disagree. If you read the instructions carefully it tells you to slowly inflate the toy as your baby grows. Our daughter was at least 9- 10 months before we inflated the ring all the way. If you have other play gyms or get them as gifts- send them to grandma\'s and get yourself one of the only one\'s that will see your child well into their toddler years!

This is the absolutely best thing we have bought so far!!

We got this for my daughter for Christmas when she was 2 months. She liked laying in it and looking at all the bright colors and toys but she really started to enjoyit when she turned 4 months. She pulls on the toys...laughs at the animals and will entertain herself for a long time! The best part is this is a great toy for practicing sitting becasue anyway she falls she is caught by a soft surface. In fact, my daughter will be 5 months in a week and is already sitting up by herself!! I owe it all to this Playnest!



The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is it is a pain to put it together, but not all that bad. I took me 30 minutes with my husband laughing at me. It is also a little big for small areas like my house and hern room. But still way worth it!!

My son loved this but my husband hated putting it together

My 4 month old son LOVES this gym. He cries when you take him out of it. He just loves looking at the toys and sitting in the middle. I wish I had gotten it sooner.



The biggest downfall was putting it together. First, we had to buy an airpump to pump it up. My husband pumped it up only to realize that he couldn\'t put the cover on while it was inflated so he had to deflate it partially and re-inflate it. Needless to say, he was very tired. Then the poles didn\'t fit right and it takes some strength (and patience) to put together. HINT: Should you get this item, use baby oil to put the poles together.



The product is a great concept and I wish I had this for my other 2 children when they were little. It is a pain to put together for parents. Once it put together, its worth while. I plan to use this for my baby-to-be once she makes her entrance.
