User Reviews for The First Years 3-in-1 Kickin Coaster

Kickin\' Coaster Review
I was a little hesitant to buy this just because I didn\'t know if it would be worth the money. I\'m soooo glad that I did, though. My little boy has gotten hours of enjoyment out of this little toy! I feel like it has strengthened his legs in preparation for crawling and walking, too. I highly recommend this product to any mom looking for a good toy during that in between time when the excersaucers are too big, but your child still loves to kick. Great investment!!!
\"Kickin\"
My grandaughter just loves this! She is 3 mos. old and can make something move on her own. It is just perfect. Gresat service. Will do business with them again.
Kick, kick, kick.
We bought this for our 7 week old baby boy. He was quite the kicker in utero and when I saw this item in a magazine I knew it would be perfect for him. Our baby is pretty long for his age, 24\" and he does have trouble reaching the kicking surface. We put a small flat box in front of the kicking surface and our baby just goes crazy. We tell him \"Kick, kick, kick\" and he does. He is so pleased with himself when the seat goes flying back (exaggerating, it\'s very gentle.) I like the seat because I can put it on our kitchen island while I am cooking dinner and the baby is amused. He\'s too small to really play with toys with his hands so this is great. I noticed in the 2 weeks that we have owned it the baby always wants to stand on my legs when I hold him. He doesn\'t want to bend at the waist and sit. He gets such joy out of using his legs! We purchased it at Baby Depot.
Best bouncer I\'ve tried
The bouncer option was short-lived with our first. Once he was around 4 months old, he wasn\'t content to just sit in a vibrating chair, understandably. He would take short naps in there once in a while, but it soon became one of those inevitable baby items taking up floor space for no good reason.

The kickin\' coaster is a great step up from the standard bouncer. From the beginning our second son could manipulate the kick panel, pushing himself up the track or activating the sounds and lights. Since you can also lock down the seat and turn on vibration, he could take advantage of the more traditional bouncer uses, too. The angle is nice and the seat is deep and comfortable-looking. I\'m sure he\'ll be using this much longer than he would a regular bouncer. It\'s kind of like an activity center/exersaucer for the baby set without all the over stimulation. It\'s just enough to be entertaining without being too circus-like.

This is generally cheaper direct from the Learning Curve site even with Prime, btw.
Fun time but not for short babies
I just purchased this for my baby for Christmas. We have only had it for one day now but it seems really cool. He seems to enjoy using his little legs to push himself up. However, he is only 3 months old and 24.75 inches and even at the closest position his little legs barely touch. I have to slide him a little past the edge of the seat in order for him to reach which isn\'t very comfortable so I have to put a blanket underneath him. I also which the seat had more adjustments like being able to put it in a more upright position. Overall though I really like it and I\'m excited about him being able to use it even more when his legs get just a little longer. By the way the price on here seems a little high. I purchased it for less than seventy dollars at Baby Depot.
