Develop Baby's Walking Muscles
The Around We Go Activity Station is a unique take on the stationary activity centers that are so popular for infants today. While some activity centers have a seat in the center for the baby that's encircled by an activity tray, the Around We Go station is configured to let baby walk around the toys instead.

The activities are positioned on a sturdy, plastic table. The baby seat, which is supported by two wheeled legs, attaches to it. Baby sits in the bucket-shaped seat with his feet firmly planted on the ground. He can learn to push off the ground, propelling himself around the table to get to the activity of his choice.

Unique Toys for Creative, Challenging Play
The Around We Go station is also fresh and unique in the activities it offers. It includes many of the favorite stand-bys of other activity centers -- bendable stalk toys that encourage tactile exploration, spinning and moving characters that help babies learn about cause and effect. Babies will find these toys entertaining and educational. But we were especially delighted by the magnetic drawing board that includes cute character shapes that let babies make their own, erasable drawings. And the piano keyboard, which has three play modes, features fun, upbeat music that's actually catchy to listen to. It also plays piano tones and cartoonish, animal voices.

Perks for Baby and Parents
We love the ingenuity of the Around We Go station's set up. Rather than keeping your baby stationary like other activity centers, it helps him satisfy his urge to move; he actually can make himself go from one point to another by using his feet. This gives baby vital, leg-strengthening exercises in a much safer and secure environment than baby walkers. There are perks for parents, too: you can lock the baby seat in place in front of the included snack tray to let him snack safely, and the seat fabric is easily removable and conveniently machine washable.

One drawback: this toy is a bit cumbersome, which may present a problem if your living space is limited. However, the seat easily detaches from the table for more compact storage. In fact, when your baby is able to walk on his own, he doesn't have to abandon this toy: simply remove the seat, and he can play at the table independently.

This toy requires adult assembly. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver, as well as three C batteries for the toy piano.

User Reviews for Bright Starts Tropical Fun Around We Go Activity Station

A nice addition
This is a pretty good buy. It\'s very different from most activity centers because it doesn\'t bounce at all and I think that variety is important. The keyboard on it is great. The other toys aren\'t very interactive. Make sure when you put in the teething toys that you like the order they\'re in- once in they are REALLY hard to take out. My son is 7 1/2 months (he\'s a little under the average in height) and he still can\'t touch the floor all the way to properly move around in it. So don\'t be surprised if you put this together and discover you can\'t use it for awhile. What he is able to do so far he seems to enjoy, and I see a lot of great potential in it. If I had to choose between his excersaucer or this, I would definitely choose the excersaucer but I do think this is a great addition if you have the space.
Loads of Fun
We have had the Bright Stars Tropical Fun Around We Go for almost 3 years. Both of my kids have gotten tons of use out of it. My husband had to fix some of the holes in it with his drill so we could actually put it together, but it is one of the best toy investments we\'ve made for our kids. My 3 yr old still plays with it, and the baby loves to run in circles around the table.
Cool design
We bought this because our son was just not that into the traditional exersaucers. He always likes to be a part of everything and didn\'t like being \"trapped\" in an exersaucer. With this he feels like he\'s out in the open with everyone else and he loves that he can turn in almost any direction to be involved in everything. We bought this when he was about 5+ months but unfortunately his legs didn\'t reach the floor and at almost 7 months he is just now able to get his feet almost flat on the floor to give him enough push to get himself going. Also the toys were hard to reach for him at first, but now he\'s enjoying them much more and he\'s 19lbs 26 1/2 inches, so he\'s not the smallest thing in the world. I do like the fact that he\'ll be able to grown into it and I think he will continue to really enjoy it the more he tries to start walking. Also, it\'s a magnet for my 3 year old daughter and she likes pushing him around in circles in it. Over all a good buy, but just be prepared that your child might not be able to use it right away depending on their height.
two thumbs up
My daughter loved this so much! We got it for her when she was 7 months old, she is 2 now and still loves the table. It is a great investment and I highly recommend it to all parents of babies/toddlers! I loved it so much, that I bought one for my niece who is now 5 months. She is still a little small for it, but I am sure she will love it just as much my little girl does.
TWO THUMBS UP!
We love this toy. I got it for my 1st child when she was 6 months old and she loved it immediately. She stood in it and played with the toys at each spot - learned to walk and then to run around it. Once she was actually walking we pulled the seat off and left it as a playtable for her...she constantly played with it. She loved having snack in the little snack tray and all her little friends that came to play always ran to the table...now #2 is here and loves it just as much! Its the same big hit the second time around! Fabulous toy - worth the money - very durable. Easy to clean (except the keys in the piano part those are more difficult). Good on carpet tile and hardwood.
