decent distraction

our baby finds this playmat entertaining but there have been two challenges: one the speaker on the star has already blown out..and the fabric on the mat is slippery so he has a challenge scooting himself about.

The Speakers are blown out

We received this as a gift, and our son loves staring at the star. Our complaint is that it only plays four songs, that aren\'t very long, and get very annoying for mom and dad!! The speakers sound like they have been blown out, when we only play it on the soft volume, this happened in just a few weeks. This makes the songs even more annoying. For some reason this doesn\'t seem to affect baby, so I have to use headphones when he is listening to it to keep my sanity! Also it doesn\'t have much to interact besides the lighting up star. Fischer Price has a jungle theme gym with tons more things for only $10 more.
